We turned our love for flowers and design into a business we are incredibly passionate about.
In 2020, what started as a fun hobby quickly became a business idea that we couldn't stop thinking about.

We knew that we could bring our design style and love for plants and flowers into people's homes and patios, helping to transform their space into a garden they've only dreamed of.
In January of 2021, Forget-Me-Not Pots was created and we haven't looked back since!

Meet Kim
Kim’s career path has taken her through a wide range of industries—from dental offices and luxury hotels to wedding planning—but nothing has brought her more joy than digging into the world of gardening. What started as a personal passion quickly blossomed into a thriving business, co-founded with her partner Jessica.

Though Kim doesn't come from a traditional landscape or horticultural background, her hands-on experience has more than made up for it. After seven years in her current home—and four “Yard of the Month” awards later—her love for experimenting with plants and creating beautiful outdoor spaces has become her signature. Whether it’s testing new shrubs in her own yard or curating just the right mix of textures for a client's planter, she brings heart and creativity to every project.

Kim thrives on the design process, finding inspiration everywhere—from garden centers to front yard strolls with her dog, Missy. She finds real magic in watching a vision come to life: the moment a planter is placed exactly where she imagined is pure joy. (And if a little shopping is involved along the way, even better.)

When she’s not in the garden, Kim is likely curled up with a good book in her backyard or walking the neighborhood, always keeping an eye out for the next great idea.
Meet Jessica
After earning a BBA in Marketing, Jessica spent over a decade in the corporate world before turning her passion for gardening into a thriving business. Over the years, she has planted just about every type of plant that grows in Houston and has developed a deep understanding of what thrives—and what doesn’t—in Zones 9a and 9b.

With an eye for spotting early signs of disease, watering issues, or natural plant failure, Jessica brings practical experience and plant knowledge to every project. She knows which flowers will shine through each season and which ones to avoid, and can name most plants by sight thanks to years of hands-on work in the field.

When she’s not designing or planting, Jessica enjoys staying active and finding inspiration in nature and the changing seasons.
